Hello and thank you for checking out my website.
Music has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up in the 90s, always with a Walkman in hand, I got introduced to some of my favorite punk and alternative rock bands. Soon after, I started going to concerts. That is when I got addicted to the sonic energy that you can only get at a good rock show.
Later on, I dove into the photography world. Being able to compose a great looking image and telling a story through it is what I enjoy the most about photography. I started taking a lot of portraits, travel, and editorial photos.
Since I was going to so many concerts and I had my camera with me most of the time, I thought of combining my two hobbies. Why not take some photos at a live show? That is how my new passion started. Capturing the energy and the connection that artists and bands get with their audience is an absolutely amazing experience.
After several years of photography experience, I am happy to call Atlanta home. This charming southern city has a very tight independent music scene full of fantastic talent. Most weekend nights you can find me at indie-rock shows at some of my favorite venues like The EARL, Star Bar, 529, and The Drunken Unicorn. I love the intimate experiences that these venues allow during the show.
Just a little more about me. I listen to a lot of punk rock, indie, alternative, and pop punk. Some of my all-time favorites are Ramones, Pixies, Green Day, Joy Division, The Muffs, and Sleater-Kinney. I am an avid CD and vinyl record collector. Currently I am focusing on small-venue rock concert photography, but I would like to get into larger show and music festival photography. Feel free to contact me if you would like to book me for a show.
Thanks again and take care!
- Will (and also Guillermo for some...)
